yeah you think it is a good idea to single people out as dumb? you may have had sucesss in the past with this stragey but I can also see how this might blow up in your faces. you piss off the wrong person and the next thing you know AO is been dumbed on by a gang of wild teens. I have even see a form hacked and delted by some one that was singled out by the *Group* as a Bad Egg. Things would of been fine if people just chill out and remeber a few things:

you may think there post is dumb and bad but it is also there opions and in truth have no reall effect on your life unless you give them the power to piss you of or make you sad. words do hurt but you need to be come stronger then that don't let people know they got your goat unless you want to make your self a target for repeted attacks.
Perception is reality what another person thinks of the world arownd them shapes there whole lives, and so in truth there beliefs really are true because they make them true with there actions and thoughts.
lastly and most inporatantly, you ppl all try to be soo PC but when it comes down to it do you think it is PC to instanly jump on some one just because there ideas are not? if you care about every one having rights and free speech then why become angrey when people say things you don't like? every one needs to relize that all people deserve the right to say what they belive even if you think its is compleatly wrong and to punish people because they missed used there freedoms is evil and retared, because it is there right to do so no mater what you do or say.

Freedom of speech is a myth, both here and in real life, and individual rights and freedom? There are none, as Jean-Jacques Rousseau argued there cannot be absolute freedom in any society whether that society be real or virtual like this one.

Let me elaborate, essentially AO is a dictatorship, no different from Napoleonic France or Pinochet's Chile, the only difference is that as luck would have it Edgar happens to be a benevolent and liberal dictator (Yes i am also challenging the modern concept of a dictator), you only have rights here as long as the boss grants them to you .

Essentially here is my view on the matter, basically some people are idiots, they may hide behind big words or stolen ideals but they are no more intelligent that the dregs we ban from the boards almost everyday for spam advertising. The Moron committee is actually an attempt to prevent further more serious and permanent actions (i.e official warnings) being brought against long term members for repeated offences infringing the AO code of conduct, members will not and never have had the privilege of joining the committee for expressing grounded, well written opinions supported with sources.

Not to meantion one just doesn't automatically get thrown in this group it's usually after many warnings and used somewhat as a last resort. We don't just move people into this group on a whim the person is moved there after a long period of misbehavior, numberous warnings and has been discussed among the mods and admins.
